I've got midwife coming for home visit at some point later, she's delayed the time due to attending home birth last night and being shattered - at least it means she can tell me about it as I want to hear all about her experience in case she's the one who comes out if I get my home birth

I was enjoying listening to that with her lovely soft voice (you sound lovely Kate!!!) and then all of a sudden I had an Argos delivery, a phone call immediately after (thought I was a nanny agency!) and then a friend turned up to drop something off. Finally got back to it and it had just finished!!! Hopefully I can listen to it later?

Afternoon girls..quick on, got two mindees today, just finishing up lunch then off to take one to nursery..youner mindee's nappy leaked so now no tights on, having to dig some of dd's smaller ones out so shes not freezing...lots of sticking and glueing this morn, mindee will prob sleep most of after noon so will try and get my policies on order so i can print out some kind of booklet to hand out!..havea good day y'all

Boys - yes, planning home birth so fingers crossed Mindees mum GAVE me a big birthing pool (complete with sieve and all ). I'm due in just over 5 weeks (23rd June), 3 more weeks of work and then I can rest for a bit hopefully

One mindee today (usually day off) and we've been out this morning, had lunch and now mindee asleep so I'm having lunch and catching up!

Had after school mindee at 7am this morning. I'm not doing after next week if I'm asked!! It's too stressful for me and dd and dh wasn't best pleased either

my tyre bew on the way to school this morning! was ok just up the road (still on camp 15mph limit so safe) so called DH, he came up in his crappy old car, I transfered the schoolies into DH car as well as friend who comes with me. left the SAHmindees with DH watching DVD in car.

Now my big Bongo is automatic, his crappy old car is a manual, with a manual choke.

I flooded it!

Friend drives it, reving the gears the whole way, it was like someting from Thelma and Louise, the schoolie girls thought it was soooooooooooo funny.

We made it to school in time tho

anyone do their own booklet with run down of policies for aprents(i know shoshe does IIRC?)..i want to do one now as although i have hard copies my computer files all disapeared when my puter crashed so need to start from scratch so dont want reams and reams..i thought a quick guide for reference???..and and tips on what DEF should be in it(apart from pay on time and BE on time)
