I have two weeks holiday to cover in the summer which I don't have enough annual leave left for. There is nothing local to us (South Yorkshire) that will take my then 4 year old as he will not yet be reception age.
I'd like to take both my 4 and 8 year old away for 2 weeks either to another city or the beach where I can work from where we are staying and can take them to a day camp. There seems to be lots of options in the South of England but I'm nervous about them being somewhere I won't have seen before hand... So wondered if anyone had anywhere they can recommend?

Would a childminder be a better option? Most holiday clubs only take school aged children so those who are in reception year and up to aged 12. The holiday club I use is excellent but has this restriction on aged.
