Argh late submitting funding form - please help!

Please help! I am late in submitting my child’s funding form to their nursery (term starts 1st, emailed it to nursery on 2nd) - haven’t heard back from nursery yet and child isn’t in for the rest of the week. What are the chances this would be processed for Aprils funding? Is it a dead date that all forms have to be submitted by the nursery before 1st April.

I’m usually so organised but have 1,01 things going on in my life right now, all of which are quite awful (cancer diagnosis) and knew I would drop the ball on something. Please someone put my mind at ease 😢😢😢😢

will call nursery again tomorrow.

The date is usually the date, so you won’t get the funding. Unless it’s all changed as my kids haven’t been in nursery for a decade.

Oh no, I feel sick 😢 I don’t know how I’m going to afford it without the funding.

When I was a childminder, the date was the date sorry. I had to submit all forms before start of term. I would not get paid for any late forms until the end of the term ! I was not prepared to wait to be paid, far to risky a film could leave, more settings and I have worked and not get paid. In my contracts it state if I was unable to claim the funding you were late submitting forms etc parents would have to pay full fees .

Family not film !

It will depend on your nursery and your LA, but for me it wouldn't be a problem (I'm a childminder). I have a window of 1st-6th April to submit an estimate for this term and the actual headcount day isn't until May.
Call the nursery and ask.

I’m a childminder and the window for me to claim the funding from the LA tis until 10/4. So long as your 500xxxx number is approved before 31/3 you would still be ok in my county to received the ‘free’ hours

All ok! Thank goodness, I can sleep again 🤣 will never make that mistake again!

So long as you had the code by the end of March you might be ok. If you applied after this for the code you will have a problem. Speak to your nursery though for confirmation.

I'm a childminder in my la as long as you have the code by the 31st of March we can do a late submission but we won't get paid Aprils money until the end of August so I'd charge you and refund when I'm paid it.
