Our first year employing a nanny. I asked her about previous payrises and it has been very variable approaches by past employers. Just wondering what others will do (fwiw I think we'll do an inflation matching rise although we haven't had notification of any payrise yet)

Its very kind of you that you think about giving your nanny a payrise. In 20 years of nanny i never got one from any families unless i asked for it and it one instance i wasade redundant after asking.
If your nanny is on the going rate for the area i think a rise according to inflation is fair.
