I've got dd2 (now nearly 3) plus just turned 1yr old mindee and another just under 1. We're going for a walk and to stay and play this morning.

eleanorsmum · 09/05/2008 07:47

just me and dd today! off to fun session around doing the shopping and pre-school!

been doing my first aid course this week with a very jolly man from abc medical!

looneytune · 09/05/2008 09:44

Morning all

No school run as ds has pains in tummy (sounds like constipation), so it's him (now 5), 1 yr old and just waiting for my 4 month old to arrive.

I've been really swollen this week and think it's been getting noticed. One parent (who is using her older dd's nursery for the other 1 yr old I look after) has said I can finish with her dd earlier if I'm really suffering. I'm paid up to the end of the month and should be working first week of June and then starting maternity leave (2 weeks before bubba due), so I've asked if maybe I can skip doing the last week and then neither of us owe any more money until I start back. She's ringing the nursery to check and if they agree, I'll only have 2 more working days with 2 x 1 yr olds together as the family are away for the next 2 weeks . Then this morning, my FT 1 yr olds mum said she will drop her off after the school run each day to save me pushing the pram in the morning when it's more rushed, and also will have her at home the day of my Drs antenatal app (end of month - it's a Friday ) The other baby I have (4 month old) is only 9.30-2 3 days a week so it would mean no more school runs with a pram in the morning and just single buggy for the afternoon school run!!! So, just ds in the morning and ds, single buggy (1 yr old) & mindee (4) in afternoon, and that's only for 3 full weeks as there is a half term in there!!

Can you tell I'm feeling a bit better about it all now lol

EllieM - they are fab at ABC.....is it Mark or Keith running the course?

Have a good day everyone

crace · 09/05/2008 10:05

Hey you all! I feel rather bad being off, but no rest for the wicked (or lazy even). Been a busy bee still and exhausted but I feel like I am accomplishing things, and therefore better. if you see what I mean.

Enjoy your days, weather a bit cloudy here today but still warm. Have broken out dd's summer clothes!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 09/05/2008 10:27

Shoshe - enjoy swimming

LMG - making the most of the glorious weather

EM - it's nice just to have your own DC sometimes, innit. Aw

Looney - sounds like you are going to wind down nicely towards your due date. Yay !

Crace - are you nesting ??? Not long now !

Have a good day all

looneytune · 09/05/2008 10:36

crace - oh, I know the feeling about getting things done, feels great after doesn't it! I did LOADS at the weekend and although absolutely knackered, I felt so much better for it. I'm majorily nesting atm which I'm sure you are too I emptied a massive area of ds's room this morning (at 8am before work!), incl. his bed, as he's having a new bed delivered today so I wanted it ready for them to put straight up there and then dh can build when he gets back from work Anyway, pleased you're making progress!

Boys - have a good day off and enjoy the hair cut

dmo · 09/05/2008 11:06

Good to see you

southernbelle77 · 09/05/2008 12:16

Hi all!

Just me and dd today. We've been shopping this morning and then this afternoon we are going out with her bike and her scooter.

Was having a stress this morning that something was wrong with the baby as I wasn't feeling sick etc etc. Me just being paranoid as usual as about 5 minutes after thinking that I started feeling totally sick and nauseous!

Good to see you LT and Crace, hope you are ok.

Nice to see the rest of you too!

southernbelle77 · 09/05/2008 17:04

I'm pooped!! And think I've probably overdone it a bit as I can feel a bit of strain in the bottom of my stomach! Not really bad and I don't think it's anything to worry about, but just like I've exerted myself a tad too much!

took dd to the park where she made me play with her on pretty much everything that I could. I took her into soft play and had to go in with her as no one else was there and she wanted someone to play with so we ended up climbing up , down and all around as well as playing hide and seek!! We then came home and I mowed the lawn! Oh, and dismantled the little trampoline as I am giving it one of my mindees!

And I'm off out tonight - for a rest I think!! Going out for a meal with some other cm's!

eleanorsmum · 09/05/2008 18:15

looney - it's keith running this one. he's a bit odd but very good and really funny! got two more evenings to do next week. then have food hygine and child protection to do too!

dd and i had lovely day, don't think we did as much as you southernbell! take it easy chick.

JustRose · 09/05/2008 18:39

is it just me or does hardly any cm's come on here anymore?, there was a time you'd get a reply or help within minutes!? maybe everyones mindees are having less sleep these days??

hennipenni · 09/05/2008 19:52

I'm still around although due to nursery run presures I don't have time to post much, also littlest mindee doesn't sleep for very long so I use this time to have quality time with my other mindee. I do however try to keep upto speed with how everybodies doing.

mumlove · 09/05/2008 19:57

I am around and reading a little of what you have all been doing but since my op on tuesday I have not been able to focus or think about much (I think the anasectic has affected what brain cells i had left ).

KaySamuels · 09/05/2008 22:02

Just thought I would pop in and say hi. Not doing much mumsnetting at the mo as have lots of littlies by day and lots of homework and housework by night .

I have another EYFS training booked mid June, hope it clears things up a bit more.

DS been looking a little sad recently at times when I am cm'ing, but if I went out to work would hardly see him and be worse off after childcare - no one tells you about the guilt when you plan dcs do they!!

mightymoosh · 09/05/2008 22:30
