Childminders- funding and LA question

Hello childminders
just currently filling out my form to become eligible for the funding. My LA seem to want to know every single thing about me except for my OFSTED number and copy of DBS. As I’m collecting all this information, I can see on the form, in small print, if I fail to submit all the required information, by the second attempt, I will be charged £425!
Is anyone else’s LA like this?

just as snippet of some of the unnecessary things I have been asked to qualify for funding;
I need to supply recent Gas certificate, my home is a new build, there is no gas, just electricity, so they have asked for proof of this. (EDF think I’m mad!)
I need proof I am self employed, but a recent self assessment calculation isn’t enough, I need to go through HMRC and obtain evidence from them by filling out an online questionnaire.
I need to supply proof of a fire drill that’s been carried out in last 6 months. (Not a problem but I don’t know why this is required for funding?)
The list goes on…

It’s going to take a while, I’m fairly confident I can do it, but it’s exceptionally convoluted and feels like a very good way to exclude many childminders from joining up. Just wandered if it was just my borough who operates like this?

What LA is this? Sounds bonkers. Have you checked you have the right form? Mine asks nothing, we literally email them out bank details!

Oh yes it’s right, all my peers have experienced the same (there’s a big WhatsApp group of us)
not sure I want to say which one, but it’s a London borough

Mine didn't want anything except my Ofsted number and address.

Cheers for the replies, glad you both didn’t need to go through this.
Doesn’t make it easier, but I do feel a bit vindicated in my thinking that the LA are just trying to make our lives difficult. It’s much more of a headache dealing with them than going through ofsted inspection.

None of that for my London Borough they know we are registered they get notified by Ofsted who do the safeguarding checks. We did have someone from the teaching team visit to discuss how we provide education years ago, but now it's about the Ofsted grade. We have to sign a funding agreement.

That’s bonkers, I’ve never had to supply any of that. I’m not in a London Borough, I wouldn’t be impressed if my LA started demanding that!
