thats it really, just been sorting out a lot of my paperwork and it seems to have been 40p for years do they ever take into account the actual cost of petrol?

ermmm thats a bloody good question... possibly call the tax office to confirm this, or maybe the NCMA?

ayla99 · 02/05/2008 13:12

Its still 40p per mile. I believe there was a proposal to have 50p per mile for first 1-2000 miles but never heard any more about that?

nannynick · 02/05/2008 19:17

Yes, there was some news on this back in 2007 - see here - but I have not heard of anything since.

mum2becks · 02/05/2008 21:26

it seems there has been a lot of discussion about it but nothing has been actually agreed as checked today and it is still 40p per mile
