Oh Crace, can you curl up on the sofa with a big mug of tea, biscuits and DD?

eleanorsmum · 30/04/2008 07:14

aw crace, hugs! i do hope you aren't suffering too bad. are you busy today?

ended up having one mindee till 7pm last night as her mum had to take a friend and her lo to a&e, he fell and hit his head on concrete but looks like he's ok. these things are sent to try us. dd thought it was fab having lo for dinner! (usually goes at 5). also have been asked about overnight care, what extra do i have to do to get registered for that?

have a good day all, wet here again so don't think we'll walk to drop in (kids hate the rain cover!)

KaySamuels · 30/04/2008 07:26

Morning.

crace - you poor things, take it easy for the day.

hi shoshe

Eleanorsmum - I am registered for overnight care, just means Ofsted inspect my upstairs too (toilet and bathroom downstairs). Same checks as elsewhere, window locks, upstairs fire plan, smoke alarm, safety gates at top of stairs or bedroom door(s). Bed and bedding for mindee etc.

I am worried baby mindee is not comfy in my MarcoSky She is quite long so doesn't seem to have enough leg room, but legs not long enough to bend at knees into leg room, so seems all scrunched up. I realise that's a bit of a ramble can't think how else to describe it! Trouble is have a buggypod now too as have 3 littlies. Are there other A frame doubles??

eleanorsmum · 30/04/2008 07:30

kay - i get what you mean about the sky. i have one too but mine are both older and their legs go down the hole (so to speak!) could you attch a piece of cardboard covered in soft blanket of course from the crutch to the end of the leg hole, making it a bit more pram like, iyswim! the only other one i've seen is the mothercare hoxton duo (sp) but not sure what thats like for leg space! hth!

KaySamuels · 30/04/2008 07:32

She keeps her legs straight if laid down in it and they push on the front seat or she sticks one out the side! Or if sat up she has them like frgs legs. She is 6months next week but is massive!

...love my marco tho! {sigh}

KatyMac · 30/04/2008 07:47

Morning - how you feel better Crace

I have really old buggies

mumlove · 30/04/2008 07:58

Morning everyone.

It's wet wet and more wet here, I don't think it has stopped since starting yesterday lunchtime!

crace · 30/04/2008 08:07

If only girls - have mindee here until 1pm and then hopefully we can lay down! DD on the other hand is being a COW.. horrible!! Oh well. Not sure whether to stay home or go to toddler group. I don't want to get there and have her be awful, but staying here isn't much better!

No advice about the marco sky, I am afraid. But it's nice to see you around Kay!

Hi shoshe, EM, Katy and ML - hope you all have nice days, despite the horrid weather!

Hi All..

Kay i have the graco andem duo and although if i do have my 2 yr old in back it IS a bit of a squash, but most of the time now shes in front..i have 2 x 1yr olds this afternoon, the older one(taller) will go in front..the smaller one will go in back, what i like about this one is(like described Em suggested i have a bit that folds down into itself when used for older ones but for babies it flips up and secures in places with poppers to make it into a carry cot(it lays almost flat too)..its a fab double, i actually used to hire one of these before i bought this one, much better than anything ve had before and i paid about (well i got mine off grant) £125.00

JustRose · 30/04/2008 10:26

sorry that should say graco Tandem

southernbelle77 · 30/04/2008 21:29

Blimin eck, it's quiet in the staff room lately!

Busy day for me today but all went well. DD has trip on train with preschool which she loved!

Have interview tomorrow for 2 siblings, both under 5. Hoping it goes well and would be perfect so keep your fingers crossed would you!

Have told them I would need a variation in order to do it, but hoping that wouldn't be a problem as had one previously! Have also started the grid and letter incase they want me so can get the ball rolling straight away! Hope that doesn't jinx it now!!

southernbelle77 · 30/04/2008 21:30
