Hello!
I am a self employed and I have a 3 year old child. I have worked all this time even when my child was not in nursery but of course my income was very low because I could only work for a few hours from time to time.
At the beginning of this year I’ve applied for 30 founded hours for my child to start nursery in September, considering that once he will start I will be able to work more and make the minimum amount of money they ask per month.
Now when it was the time to reconfirm im my eligibility, I’ve got a message saying that they need further information to decide whether i am eligible or not and that i need to call them to confirm my anual income.
Now my question is…did I get this wrong?are they expecting me to earn at least £9000 in this current tax year( calculating from April) or it is correct if i declare on average £6000 (calculating from September)?
I think I somehow misunderstood the way they are calculating this and I don’t want to say something wrong or false.
Any info you might have is much appreciated, Thanks!

Call them and explain you will be earning.

You'll still get 15 hours btw.
