Eligible for funding but no place until midway through term

Hi,

the nursery I would like my children to attend is so booked up that I can have spaces for them midway through the term. They will be eligible for funding but can I have it if they don't start the first week that term? I'd obviously apply for it in readiness for that term but what if it's not used at the start of the term? Is that a problem?

Apply and pass the code onto the nursery. They then have to fill funding form for council and will input the date your child starts and claims funding from that date.

Thank you so hopefully I'll be ok? Dread paying for half a term if I don't need to!
