After School Club Costs

Our after school club has recently gone up again to £15 per session. This is about £4 more than my nieces school. How much are you all paying?? This is until 6pm if needed and we’re based in the South East.

£15 per child, 3.15 to 5pm. I believe it goes down to £10 if you collect by 4 but I never do. We are in the east of England and I have two kids there 5 days a week. Breakfast club is 7.30 until 8.30 and is £3.50 each per day.

£18 I think now at our school (in NI so not London prices), for 2 or 3pm until 6. They bring a snack.

We use the one attached to younger DC's nursery. It's £37 but includes pickup from school and a hot meal.

£15 sounds fine to me, sorry OP.

£9 per session, 3.15-5.15pm. They get a small snack (typically fruit/breadsticks) included in that.

We're in the SW.

£8 per session from 3:15-6pm. This includes a snack as well. We're Yorkshire based.

£5.50 until 5pm with a snack or £7.50 until 6.30 and a hot meal. If your child is booked in all week then it's £22 or £30 for the 5 days.

However, it is run by volunteers (all set up properly, checks, training, inspected etc. just run by some parents, a few ex teachers and helped by students, people looking for experience) so there are no staff wage costs and the school don't charge for rental of the space. So it's literally just covering costs.

£6.50 3.10pm til 4.30pm

I’m in Yorkshire. £11.75 for a session, which is 3.15 to 6 and includes a snack. It’s run by the nursery next to the school.

£9 until 530pm in the south west. Recently gone up from £8. They get a piece of fruit included in that.

£8.50 - 3.20-5.30pm, including snack.

£14 until 6:15 in london

That’s cheap, would u work for that money?

£12.60 in East of England. Includes a snack and is until 5pm, if you want a later pick up you have to pay extra (I think it closes at 6pm).

This is roughly the same as ours although we're in London. I suspect it might be the same private company!

3.30-5.30, £5. Run by the school itself, not external provider.

£12 to 6pm. They get tea at 5 included in this (pasta and garlic bread, nuggets and chips) which would probably be fine for the younger kids but the portions aren't massive for the juniors and it's a bit light of veg, so we still feed them when we get home.

£15 3-6. Snack included, usually fruit or toast.

£1 / minute if you are late.

London borders. £17 per day, but this includes breakfast club 7:30am-8:15am, after school wrap is 3:15pm-5:30pm. They provide breakfast and a very generous late afternoon tea, very rarely do I need to do more than a snack in the evening.

£9.50 3.15-5.30. Also SE.

Northamptonshire here. Just gone up to £10, 3.20pm until 5.45pm and includes a snack

i think you can book until 4.30 for less but I’ve never done it.
its run by the school now and used to be more expensive when run by an external provider.
