I already have a nanny so the housekeeper would only be responsible for housekeeping. maybe occasionally help the nanny. working 50 hours a week...

Sorry, no idea. I only nanny advice.

GrapefruitMoon · 24/04/2008 18:02

Well, as most cleaners probably charge £7-8 an hour (so I hear...) I would assume a housekeeper would want at least £10 an hour so £500 a week for 50 hours?

BeauLocks · 24/04/2008 18:03

£10 an hour

AtheneNoctua · 24/04/2008 18:20

Ouch, I'd get a cleaner one day a week and an au pair to run errands.

imananny · 24/04/2008 21:15

think gidleigh meant the nanny worked 50hrs

depending what you need done, i would get a cleaner once/twice a week for 4/6hrs a time - unless you live in a mansion and earn mega bucks - otherwise you will be paying our double salary

what excalty is housekeeping? cleaning/cooking/ironing/washing?
