this is a silly one but i was wondering if any one could tell me why fpor my daughter to go to nursery 8-12.30 have breakfast and lunch provided for her it is only £6 but if she were to be ther 8-5.30 it would be £29??
im not putting her in all day just wondering why such a price difference for 5 extra hours and one more meal??

Is she 3 ? Maybe the 8-12.30 is subsidised by a 2 1/2 hour "free" session under the LEA scheme. The term after she is 3 she is entitled to up to 5 such 2 1/2 hour sessions per week during termtime.

Strange, I would have said it was to do with the education grant, but that does not apply for a 1 year old. Maybe they just made a mistake in calculating the cost, or maybe there is some kind of local funding going on. £29 per day, I feel is quite low for full-time nursery... but then again, I'm in the South East.
