my first inspection, help, need some advice

hi, need some reasurrance about my first inspection, i am sooooo nervous its unreal, will it really be that bad?
and plus its unannounced.

It will be fine, don't worry. As long as your house is safe and secure and you have everything in place, i.e. plug socket covers, no trailing wires, hand towels for the kids, etc. A bowl of fresh fruit on the table never goes unmissed! They will go through all the standards with you to make sure you have everything in place. Remember to have your documentation ready aswell.

I've just had my registration visit today. The Inspector was lovely..really nice and chatty.
She said on her way out
"you've done a really good job, well done'"

I was really amazed after the amount of negative comments I hear regularly.
I hope she is not a one off
