If you're eligible for funded hours, can you use them in your work place if you work as a childminder/in a nursery? Or would it need to be in a different location or on a day you aren't working? Any advice appreciated x

If you’re a childminder no as you’d be paying to look after your own children.
in a nursery yes as you wouldn’t be in the same room as your child and you are paying the setting not the individual

As @Danikm151 said if you’re a childminder your child can attend nursery/pre school using the funding but a childminder cannot claim the funded hours for their own child.

My childcare cost evidence keeps getting rejected due to it having food and on the invoice during his funded hours . I keep getting a message that I'm only intited to the hours that are not funded . Which is fine but I don't get how they want me to evidence this as obviously his invoices are for more and my bankstatment will match what it says on the invoice as I have to pay that price. I work nights so getting to talk to someone Is painful I did call the other day and he said to re upload I have and it's been rejected again. It's driving me insane I don't get how they want me to provide evidence for this. Has anyone had this ?
