2 childminders setting up together, any advice?

The basic story is me and my friend are talking about setting up as childminders and running it from her home.
We are in the process of getting info from those who should know.
What I'd like input for is how to sort out our working relationship especially with regards to sorting out the finances. You see she has 2 preschoolers and I have 1 (so I could potentially take on 2 more but she can only take 1), but it will be in her home so she'll have running costs... And if we are working together should we have a communal attitude to taking on mindees, or be responsible for finding our own?
I lean towards the communal style of organising things, just because there will be a natural overlap of work done and I don't want either one of us to spoil our friendship by allowing resentment to develop because of money etc.
Any thoughts/advice?
Thanks in advance!
