am i the only person who prefers school holidays to term time?

i LOVE the school holidays

MindingMum · 18/04/2008 10:19

No I'm with you on this one nannyL, I LOVE my kids to be off school

They are in much better moods, more co-operative, kinder to each other plus they are here to help with the mindees ( two of which don't even want to know me when my kids are here to play with )

On top of that, I'm not constantly watching the clock or preparing myself for 3 o'clock when they come out of school moaning and demanding food

imananny · 18/04/2008 12:58

Have to say i enjoy school hols as well, though normally dont work all of them as my family often go away for half term/week in easter/summer.

Its nice not to nag to eat breakie , to be out of door at 8.30, then dash around doing activites with younger ones and be back for nursery/school pick ups,and then after school stuff, tea and homework

But saying that, it is also nice to have some peace and quiet when no children about
