I don't know, I leave and the place falls apart!

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? DD is on the IOW, that's nearish!

shoshe · 16/04/2008 12:59

Beautiful Mo, we have been out in the garden in T shirts this morning, absolutly lovely.

You do realise, you will have to come in and open up in the morning before you go to school

Mmm, not sure I'll have time! I have to leave at 8am, having screamed at dd for the hour before and get myself ready!

shoshe · 16/04/2008 13:07

And of course getting ready will now involve, hair, make up and nice clothes

Not jeans and t shirt, hair scraped back and if your lucky a dap of lippy

Hello {waves}

I am not getting in here much at the mo, and am set to get even busier soon too . Feeling quie positive and slightly daunted by it tbh! Am off to Haven next week with family to recharge my batteries.

Nice to 'see' you both.

How is new job going MML? at shoshe's weather!

MaureenMLove · 16/04/2008 13:14

Actually, I do hair and makeup every day! But yes, nice clothes and managing not to spill my tea down my front, would be a bonus! I chucked out all my cm clothes! In fact Kbear told me yesterday that I'd gone all girlie! I even had some funky jewellery on, since I had no babies to rip it off my neck or chew it!

MaureenMLove · 16/04/2008 13:15

Start on Monday Kay. I've had the whole of the school holiday off and dd is away all this week too!

KaySamuels · 16/04/2008 13:35

slacker

I do my hair, very rarely my makeup unless I look like death. My hair is all wavy today {preen}.

Bet it was lovely to change wardrobes.

crace · 16/04/2008 14:01

Since I feel and look like arse, you girly girls can just stuff it

DH just back from America with a trunk load of new clothes for himself and dd and none for me. I am not mad about that - as unless it's in size TENT it won't fit me.. just jealous I don't have a new wardrobe and it's going to be many moons before I can! Blech

KaySamuels · 16/04/2008 14:18

aaw crace that sucks! did you receive a non-clothing related gift??

vInTaGeVioLeT · 16/04/2008 15:24

but crace did he buy you a new house?

vInTaGeVioLeT · 16/04/2008 15:25

mo - this place has "gone to the dogs"
i did pop in this am but ithe key wasn't under the mat

vInTaGeVioLeT · 16/04/2008 15:26

HELLO EVERYONE

crace · 16/04/2008 16:42

No, no house - fell through other party stroppy so we decided not to pursue it. Ah well. He did get me some nice trainers though (only as I asked! ) Dd promptly burst into tears once she saw him, I think she really didn't understand why he had disappeared and then reappeared a week later. She's had a lot of time for him this p.m. which I am glad for Dh as he really missed her.

MaureenMLove · 16/04/2008 16:57

I'm pooped! I've got kitchen brain freeze head on! I've been and got a quote fro Homebase today, still not as lovely as MFI and actually not much different in the price. Got to go and do B&Q in about 15mins. Very boring 1 1/2 hours out of my life, frankly!

Mother also been for a visit, which ain't easy when you don't get on particularly well and no one else is here! Is it too early in the week to call it the weekend and open my weekend bottle of wine?

FloridaKbear · 16/04/2008 17:01

Kbear vouches for Maureenmlove scrubbing up nicely since ditching the cm clothes! She was all jewelleried up and everything! woop woo

FloridaKbear · 16/04/2008 17:02

never too early for weekend wine - it's practically the weekend already!

MaureenMLove · 16/04/2008 17:05

Oh good. Glad you approve! ^&(%$£ MOTHER!!!! Today, she doesn't know what she's done to deserve the life she's had!

FloridaKbear · 16/04/2008 17:09

nice that her son is taking for lunch on her birthday though - her daughter wouldn't DRRRREAM of doing something like that

MaureenMLove · 16/04/2008 17:13

Er, I'm going with them atually!

FloridaKbear · 16/04/2008 17:15

She told my mum that your DB was taking her, no mention of you! I thought he was being the blue eyed boy as usual!! Are you going to talk cash?? PMSL

KatyMac · 16/04/2008 18:10

God if there was ever a day for giving up - today was it

KaySamuels · 16/04/2008 18:47

Katymac what's up?

southernbelle77 · 16/04/2008 19:53

Gosh it is quiet isn't it!!

Well I had an unexpected day off today which was rather nice!! On mindee swapped days this week and the other was off ill!

Had a friend and her dc's over (her ds is the same age as dd so they are good friends) and it was lovely to spend time with them with no mindees! That sounds mean doesn't it?!!

vInTaGeVioLeT · 16/04/2008 22:00

no sb that doesn't sound mean - sometimes it's cool to hang out with people you like rather than people you're paid to like - now that sounds mean
