Tax free childcare reconfirmation

Hiii,

So I reconfirmed my details on our tax free child account, didn’t think anything of but noticed today we didn’t get the top up, so I check the messages on there and it’s still showing they are checking the reconfirmation details from the 4th July! so that means we’ve missed out on this months top, which is annoying 🥴

Has anything similar happened to anybody else? I’m guessing we’ll have missed out on this top even though I did everything needed on time but I doubt they will admit to a cock up and retrospectively give us the top up 🙄

No, usually you get your reconfirmation msg pretty instantly. Have your circumstances changed?

We have however had issues with payments not reaching childcare providers. There is a compensation route for this.

@CCLCECSC No changes at all, I should have chased it up after 7 days but I just didn’t think they wouldn’t have confirmed it their end.

We’ve also had payments take over a week to. Get to the nursery, good to know there is a compensation route, that top up really makes a difference on a £950 nursery bill every month 🥴
