How to describe what help I need?

I need someone who can do some childcare, school runs, help keep the house and family organised / up straight, walk the dog etc.

Is the role a nanny housekeeper? I've seen a "family assistant" mentioned - is that different? I feel a bit out of my depth in what to look for! And a bit ashamed that we can't manage these things ourselves. But I desperately need something to take the pressure of DH and I, and make the time we have with our kids more enjoyable vs always stressing about trying to swim against the tide of what needs to be done!

help keep the house and family organised / up straight - what does that mean?

Generally speaking it is difficult to find one person who will do all these jobs.

I suggest you outsource things like laundry, after school childcare and cleaning and then you'll feel free to do the other stuff between you and your DH.

My friend is a nanny/housekeeper and she does all that and extra, like batch cooking for the family freezer, making tea for the children, light cleaning (the family has a cleaner in twice a week). She is paid very handsomely so it isn't a cheap option but you do get a relief from the mundane grind.

Yes sounds like a nanny /hk

On. Check at interview happy to walk dog

Or put along these lines

Looking for a nanny /hk to work 12/7 to come in and help look after our family - put in ages of kids - duties - light cleaning and walking dog then childcare after school

Thanks all. I do already outsource some things like ironing but to be honest I think we need someone who can be here and what @RantyMcRanterton describes sounds like what I need!
