Hi

Any nannies here? who could give advice about being employed by a family who are using Nannypaye.
What are the nanny benefits?
How does it all work?

Thank you !

I had a nanny family who used nannypaye. They work out your tax and national insurance and provide you with a payslip.

No benefit to the nanny at all using a tax company

It's to make your the employers life simple

They calculate the salary gross to take home and give payslips

Tbh most tax companies are the same. It's to cost. Nannytax are the most costly (think like Heinz) and then other companies charge less

Over the time as a nanny I've had

Nannytax
Payenannies
Employer do theirselves
Nannypaye
Nanny matters

Made no diff to me who they used

You will pay the correct tax and National insurance. I had a family who chose to do their own payroll. The mum didn’t even understand what basic tax allowance meant . I ended up paying too much tax , it too me complaining to some one high up at HMRC who had to contact the family and it took a fine before they corrected the payroll. Never again .
