Good Luck twofishes - how old are your DC's?

twofishes · 09/04/2008 21:23

DS1 is 6yrs in 3 weeks, DD is 2.5yrs (starts preschool in September!!) and DS2 is 16mths....by the enquiries I've had i could have 1 x 6yr old after school and 1x 3yr old 4 days a week (with preschool drop off and pick up) ...would that still be okay with numbers???

Sound good

You will be (normally) allowed 1 under 5 (which could be under 1) plus 2 out of schoolies under 8 - and maybe a couple of over 8's - becareful tho' having children older than your own unless you have experience - I always failed at that

busymum1 · 09/04/2008 21:28

provided your house is big enough you are able to care for six under 8's including your own so 1 can be under 1 included in total of 3 under 5's and 3 over 5's, with your own children you would be allowed one under 5 any age and two over 5's hope that is clear enough, just to point out your certificate would show one under 5 and two over five as does not show your own children so would be those numbers in addition to your own children

Thanks for that ...house would be big enough I think ( have a playroom and separate 'quiet room' downstairs) and that level would bring in enough ££ to cover my current wage (less the outgoings of being a CM if you see what I mean) KatyMac..older than my own still scare me so think I would stay away from that!
