Hello

Have done my tax return and after everything is deducted etc etc, i have worked out i will have about £300 to pay in tax and £220 to pay in NI. When i paid last year (ie 2006-2007) i made a payment on account of £500 ish pounds. i have been told that if your total tax for 2007-2008 is less than £500 you will not have to pay any more on top of the payment on account already made. is this true? please can you let me know if any one understands what i am trying to say!!
