aww sat here in the peace and quiet, just with boy mindee curled up on my lap asleep, he is such a 'boy' loud, noisy grubby and funny, also the most beautiful boy i've ever looked after. He is so cuddly.

KaySamuels · 04/04/2008 16:36

at dancing on tables! I am officially finished for the weekend now!!!

LT I would always mention a rash too.

I have my usual Friday annoyance of not being paid. Am sure the parents take it in turns.

I wish I didn't have to worry about bills and overdrafts and bank charges but sadly I do!! Ordered a buggy pod from an ebay shop and now can't pay until I get the money into bank!

MaureenMLove · 04/04/2008 17:05

Aw,I loved my boy mindee, he was loud too and very very cuddley at the same time. Luckily he lives next door, so I'll still get my fix of him. Actually, the other one I used to have that was a cuddley lives 3 doors the other way! Although, he's 7 now, so doesn't do kisses!

Tick, tock, tick, tock. 1hr and 5 mins to go!

shoshe · 04/04/2008 17:08

Is it just me, or does it seem that there is alot more girls than boys around,

In the last 7 years I have only had 5 boys (and usually only one at a time, had two for 4 months till last week tho), and I have had 14 girls!

MaureenMLove · 04/04/2008 17:12

Definately! In 12 years, I've had 6 boys and 13 girls!

looneytune · 04/04/2008 17:17

Thanks everyone. Seems like it's nothing to worry about according to NHS direct but best to be on the safe side .

Yes, more girls here too! In just under 3 yrs I've had 9 girls (11 if you count adhoc) and 4 boys (6 if you count adhoc)

MaureenMLove · 04/04/2008 17:27

Its probably the measels part of the jab coming out, because they actually inject a small amount of the disease to make your white blood cells fight it and become immune. Obviously, I'm not a doctor though, (or a CM nearly, come to that!) so always leave to the parents to make the call.

southernbelle77 · 04/04/2008 17:38

Definitely boys come through my door! Currently have 3 boys and 1 girl on my books. Will soon be 2 girls and 4 boys.

shoshe · 04/04/2008 17:41

started a thread here

looneytune · 04/04/2008 17:49

Mo, that's what I think it is too. Just feel I have to leave responsibility of finding out for sure down to the parents!

Shosh - how are you hunny? Feeling back to normal yet?

MaureenMLove · 04/04/2008 18:00

I hate the responsibity of unexplained rashes. And I wish, friends wouldn't turn to me for advice on them either! I had a distressed call from my neighbour at 10pm one night. His wife was at work and boy had a rash. She told him to ask me, 'Mo will know', she said!

MaureenMLove · 04/04/2008 18:38

Come and share the champagne!

ROSEgarden · 04/04/2008 20:35

MaureenMLove · 04/04/2008 20:44
