Baby won’t nap. Will it all work out?

Hello. DD is 8 months old and I have struggled to get her to nap always. I have read every trick in the book. Dark room, nap routine, consistent environment, or occasional offers of car and pram naps, where she will drift off better. Sometimes she’ll only get 1 hour total day sleep between 2 or 3 naps. Her resistance to being settled in arms or crib side is fierce. It’s getting to my mental health. Night sleep is quite good. One or two wake ups but self settles back down most nights. My question, or hope is that there is some one out there with an older child who can tell me ‘don’t worry, my kid had a terrible amount of day sleep and they are fine now.’ All I can find on the internet are the recommendations for more sleep. I just want to try to stop worrying about it and believe she will be healthy despite rubbish day sleep. Thank you

if she naps well in a pushchair have you tried a rockit ? It’s a thing that goes on the side of the pushchair and gently rocks it so you don’t have to . You can also buy breathable sleepshades that go over the buggy to make it dark - I can’t remember what they are called though

My mum tells me I basically didn't nap, I just fought it and fought it (until apparently one day I feel asleep and slept for nearly 24 hours when I was 18 months old 😱🤣). I'm in my thirties now and I'm fine, decent job, nice partner. If your baby is generally in an alright mood and not falling asleep as soon as she's in motion maybe she just needs less sleep?
