To start as soon as possible:-

I need someone to pick up from nursery at 5pm and return home with my 3 year old son. Give him dinner and bath, until we are home at approx 7pm. So 2 hours work x 5 nights.

Preferrably 5 nights per week, but 3 nights at least would be good.

May also require before-nursery care 7am-8am on some mornings.

No need to drive - nursery is a 3 minute walk from house.

Must have references, CRB check and speak English. Will pay better than nursery rates!

Would really love to find someone we could rely on for years to come.

May appeal to a mature college student. The trouble I see is that the hours are not a lot, so would not suit someone wanting a full-time job.
If you have room at your home, then an au-pair may work, though not sure how many au-pairs would want to be up that early.

Looks like Mumsnet HQ has changed the way job ads are treated... used to be a Classifieds section for Childcare, but looks like all job ads now should go in Jobs

Thanks nannynick.

What I really need is a Granny - but both the real ones live hundreds of miles away.
