we'll be there on 13th April for the week but it's too early for your AP isn't it? Shame - they could have spent the day in Hastings together....

New AP is so far so good - oh, and get this, in her college course back home she learnt how to prepare vegetables and present it. So I had a lovely nutrional meal last night that I didn't have to lift a finger to do. Oh and she told me she really likes dd1.

We're west of TW is that too far? New AP starting in 10 days...

That's great Mrs R...she doesn't come till the 20th though. Next time eh?
We're Tenterden Weegle whereabouts are you?

Edenbridge so a wee bit far I expect, but AP will be at WKC in Tonbridge. Current one socialises Ton/TW way. She starts on 16th.

Also forgot to say, she's German but we don't do lending the car (will you be?!) so it's public transport.

well TW is only 1/2 hour drive from us, so maybe they could meet there? Mine has a car cos we're really rural. 1 bus a week I think

hi ingles

sorry am useless I thought I had replied to you already!

TW would be a good meet, yes. How long is yours coming for? This one is only a short termer - 3 months but we will then have another so if they get along she can introduce the new one who's starting in July. They can always do some London trips together if they fancy some company.

ingles2 · 06/04/2008 21:03

Thanks Weegle...
Shall I CAT you my details?
She's on a 6 month contract to start with...doesn't really know how long she wants to stay but it gives me a get out clause if she's not good...
How did it go with your AP leaving? Was your ds ok?

never done the CAT thing - do I need to enable something on my profile? will go and have a look.

well done for finding a long one starting now - that's how come I've ended up with this short-termer, then a longer one from the summer as I just couldn't find anyone.

DS so far so good - hasn't batted an eyelid. Guess today will be the test as it's the first day when he would be expecting her to be around, ie. not the weekend when DH is about. Finger's crossed, but seems like I was worried about nothing.

ingles2 · 07/04/2008 09:38

I've sent you a CAT Weegle...
Glad to hear DS is fine, keep my fingers crossed it continues
