Hi there,

With three weeks to go until I go back to work, my new nanny has decided that it is too far to travel to my home and has decided not to start with us...

So... we are looking for a full time, live out nanny for our 6-month old son. Wages negotiable according to experience. We've never had a nanny before, but basically we need someone reliable, energetic and fun! I can promise that when we find the right person we will treat them like gold...! Ideally I'd like someone to start on 21 April with a changeover week starting 14th April but if you can't start until later, we can be a bit flexible.

If you're interested please email me at [email protected]

Thanks!

Poor you, thinking you had good child care sorted out and then this happens.

Think it is disgusting behaviour from your nanny and very unprofessional and gives us good nannies a bad name

Surely she reliesed how far your house was to hers at the interview

Really hope you find someone soon

try this one?. have been surfing on gumtree in my lunch hour and noticed several in islington so might be worth a look.

Thanks I'mANanny... and legalien. I will check out Gumtree. I am a bit upset because ultimately she and I had discussed distance (several times) but anyway. I don't want to persuade her - I want someone who is totally happy. Cheers for making me feel better though. x

def better happened now rather than a week/month into the job when your son had got used to them

Hi There, I don't know if this would work for you, but I am looking for a nanny job, have references, CRB check etc.
At present I currently look after an 18 month old boy.
I have 5 children of my own aged 6-17 so 'loads' of experience!
No two kids are the same!!!
I live in Edmonton, and although I don't drive, can travel, Islington is not far!
Let me know either way if you can, and also, what hours are required, Thanks, Candy.

Hi there!

My name's Natasia (Tash) Snowden and I live in Islington.

I've just finished working with a lovely family I've been with for six months and am now desperately seeking something new asap! I would love to have a chat with you about the job you're offering.

Let me know if you're interested, your family sound great (treat them like gold..) just the kind of family I love to work with. Reply if you still need someone, if not all the best of luck!

Tash

P.S. I have also sent you an e-mail with this message!
