Morning all. I thought that I would pop in and open up and weekend staff room as I have been up and about for ages!

So far this morning dd and I have iced dh's cake and decorated it. We have also made him a birthday card and dd has also written her friends card and present card thingy. With a little bit of help I might add!!

Right, off to hide everything before dh sees them!!

Hi everyone

Had a lie in this morning after a late night Thurs (blowing balloons and wrapping presents) and then an early start yesterday (ds's 5th birthday so wanted to open presents!!). Am now recovering for yesterday and have taken ds to a birthday party today (where he just clung to me the whole time and didn't want to take part - typical!). Ds is now waiting for me to play with him and some of his new toys so best be off!

Have good weekend everyone

Hi everyone

I am having a duvet day today after yesterday

LoveMyGirls · 29/03/2008 16:34

Hi i'm having a fairly chilled day today too, i'm so so tired I had an early night last night and dp let me have a lie in this morning but i still got up and went in to dd2's room a couple of times very early this morning and then when he did get up with dc's i could hear him telling dd1 off then I got up at 9.15 to get ready to take dd1 into town, since i've been back i've had lunch, mnetted, sorted some washing, put photos in frames and pottered, I'm just so tired I cannot be bothered. Tomorrow I need to get food shopping and make sure the house is clean and tidy ready for monday and another very busy week! Next weekend dd's are going away with my mum and I am going to enjoy the rest!

Hi everyone.

What happened yest KatyMac?

I have been rushing about today, ds off to my mum's for the night and me and DP off out in the rain.

I don't think my variation baby is coming. Mum (who is a 'friend') keeps messing me about and pushing start date back, her mum baby's nan is looking ater her at the mo and I have a feeling I am going to be told I am not needed after all. I will be so gutted if this happens.!

KaySamuels · 29/03/2008 17:13

Pressed sned too early!

crace - take it easy almost there

SB hope there will be cake leftovers shared round the staffroom!

LoveMyGirls · 29/03/2008 17:14

Oh no kay, hope not but if you have a feeling then you are probably right, hate to say it, I usually can sense when these things are going to happen to me and i've been right so far, trust your gut feeling! Start putting the feelers out for another child.

Oh no, KM. Sorry to hear that your Eco Nursery is not going to happen.

It has been a nice morning... I braved taking two children with dx asd to The Lookout (Bracknell). We enjoyed playing with the boats, went up the tower, played with their new musical light thing - hard to describe that - and went splashing in muddy puddles.

Then I went shopping, oh what fun, but at least I do now have things to eat and don't need to get a take-away.

Mum2Luke · 30/03/2008 17:42

My 6 yr old ds bday today, we have played with his Ben 10 Alien truck thing (!) and now his 17 yr old brother is, asked him if he wants one for his 18th!!

He had his party yesterday thank goodness, I'm really tired after the hour going forward so 11 kids would have been a nightmare.

Have plaaned for the week, park if dry, playcentres and activities connected with recycling using a book for planning. Gotta go, have to put drops in my eye to kill an infection.
