Very cheeky I know but has anyone got access to the aupair2aupair website at the minute? (via your very expensive agency )
Or does anyone have an AP in the Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford area who wants to make friends?

Hi Marmaduke...
You know what I think I have!!!! She's coming here tomorrow to see the ds's. All being well, I think she's going to give her family 2 weeks notice. She's a little bit worried about the friends issue out here in sticks, me too which is why I always paid the bloody woman an extortionate amount of money. Hence my post
What's happened to car? I'm glad dd is having a lovely time. Are you ok?

I my my DD but I am fine.

I ordered a new car with an enhanced spec, it was delivered today without 3 of the items, 2/3 of which cannot be retro fittted.

The sales guy didn't write the order properly and I didn't notice and signed it (DS was probaly running a Hot Wheels car down the side of the showroom models at the time). They are saying that I signed the order so it's mine and that's the end of. I don't want the blardy thing as it is not what I asked for.

I can give it back and they will give me £8K less than I have just paid for it!!!

Luckily I made them return my existing car documents, although I had signed it over to them, and drove home in existing car.

I miss my DD

ingles2 · 28/03/2008 17:06

you're joking right!?!?!
What were the extras?
Have you paid for them?
OMG What a nightmare!
(difficult I know but try not to miss dd, she's having a blardy wonderful time with DH and is probably belle of the ball )

Sadly no joke, the items are hardly life or death but ..

It's a winter pack - so hardly the end of the world. I have quite a bad back, too many falls whilst riding and with having to carry DS around so much I have had a couple of disc prolapses so the heated seats keep my back pain to a liveable/copeable level. I don't really give a stuff about the headlamp washers and thick carpets and mats.

Zippi (on mn) has found me a co that fit heated seats into it for not a huge amount, but they normally only do Jags and porkers so cannot guarantee their system will fit my seats.

I just felt so pathetic, trying to juggle so much with no support and DS running riot - he was bored we'd been there for nearly 2 hours - whilst I try to sort it out!
