Child Benefit & Free Nursery Hours

Hi there,

Given the recent tweaks to the child benefit system in yesterday's budget, i'm trying to understand whether it's possible to claim for child benefit alongside the 15 / 30 free hours and tax free childcare support?

I fit the criteria for claiming the child benefit but cannot seem to easily understand whether i'll lose the free nursery hours and / or the Tax-Free Childcare I currently receive by doing so...

I've seen parents cannot keep the free nursery hours or tax free childcare if you're claiming Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credits, Childcare Vouchers or Universal credit (none of which I do claim) but can't find an obvious mention of Child Benefit.

Just wondered whether anyone definitively knows how Child Benefit and the free hours / tax free childcare support worked together (if indeed they do!)?

Thanks in advance.

Child benefit wil be in full for those whose higher earning parent earns £60k or less, tapering off to £80k.

Unaffected by any other benefits or allowances.

Yes they have nothing to do with one another.
