hi all i know i've asked this before but now i know the details

i know a c/m who's dh is her assistant he is not a reg.c/m - so can he have sole charge of a mindee? i've seen him picking up a friends dd from a nursery i pick-up from.
i felt sure this was wrong but thought a minder who uses an assistant coulr verify this for me - thanks.

Which is pathetic really because anyone can care for a child for upto 2 hrs a day (without registration)

nannynick · 23/03/2008 18:46

True KM, but the 2 hour limit is also based on the premises - so for instance 2 people providing childcare for 1.5 hours each, would require registration as care on the premises is for 3 hours. Just thought I would mention that, should anyone be wondering about the 2 hour rule.
