Hi,
i just wanted some advice. My husband recently got made redundant and he got a job straight after. He was earning about 58k before and he got £65 redundancy. I have reconfirmed the info on the gov.uk but havent heard anything yet. Is there anyone who can help calculate if he earns more than 100k? As far as i am aware, he has to earn a taxable income of £100 and £30 k of redundancy is tax free.Thank you

The £100k threshold relates to taxable income only. Usually the first £30k of redundancy pay is tax free.
