Have just had an enquiry for care 3 mornings a week (mon, wed and thurs) from 8.30-1.30 for a 1 year old.
What would you suggest I charge? Do I charge just for the hours they are with me or do I charge for 5 mornings as will be hard to fill the other 2 days? Or would you charge for full days? Really would appreciate some advice?

I personally would only charge for the mornings they are with me. I might make the hourly fee a little higher, say 50p more).

I would charge my normal hourly rate, and only for the hours required (ie. 8.30 - 1.30) for the 3 days.

I used to charge a higher fee for part-timers but I would charge only for the hours they did

i'd just charge for the hours they were coming - i only have one rate - but i'd warn parent that as they were only paying for part days that if someone else came along who wanted full days i may have to give them notice unless they could match the new offer - if that makes any sense - sorry i'm too tired to think!!!
