in a slightly confusing situation, I have a 4 year old who gets 30 hours free childcare as I do work . His dad and me are in a relationship but we live separately and he also does work full time . My question is when it comes to reconfirming for the childcare would I need to be putting down that I do have a partner .
They don’t give you any other option apart from yes or no but as I don’t live with my partner I don’t know what I should be answering it as .
we are also not married , if that makes any difference to the situation
any advice would be great

Also just to add our son has only ever lived with me and has never stayed overnight at his dads. His dad lives 2 hours away so comes down every other weekend to see us .

For specialist situations I would always advise calling them. They are the best ones to advise as it's a costly mistake if you get it wrong..
