Anyone recommend a lovely CM in North Camden/Primrose Hill?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a recommendation for a good nursery in Camden or a lovely local childminder - I live in Primrose Hill but don't have a salary to match my postcode and the 2 nurseries I've visited have ridiculous fees and felt too clinical and too led by rules and regulations - i know they have to do certain things but most important to me is that they love and care about the children! I would be happy to leave my daughter (who will be 1yr when i go back to work in Oct 2008) with a childminder if I could find one that was highly recommended.

I need to find somewhere/someone for two full days a week. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

My DS's nursery in NW6 is great but that may be a bit far for you.

hi spicemonster

I'm willing to look at anything that comes with a recommendation! Which nursery is it?

It's Teddies. It's not cheap but is not remotely clinical - it's in an old Victorian schoolhouse (at the Kilburn high rd end) and the staff are lovely - they give my DS (who has just turned 1 and has been there since he was 7 months) lots of love and cuddles. They do lots of fun activities and he seems to really enjoy it. All the kids seem really happy as far as I can see.

Thanks, I'll go have a look at Teddies - its a 10 minutet drive so not too bad.

Anyone with any other suggestions?
