15 hours nursery for 2 year old

Hi my little one turns 2 in March and already goes to nursery which we currently pay for. I am actively seeking work and hope to be employed soon. If this doesn't happen before 31.03.2024 we can't apply for the 15 hours nursery from 01.04.2024 as we won't both be working.

If I manage to get a job a few months after 31.03.2024 would we be able to apply for the 15 hours then and be eligible for the hours from the following term? Can you apply anytime of the year?
