Does anyone have a mother's help in SW London (Teddington/Twickenham/Richmond area)

If so would you mind telling me how much you pay, and where you found them? I'd like some help for a few hours a couple of times a week but am not sure where to look to find the right person, and how much I should expect to pay.

Thanks in advance

FAIRYFAY, Im in Ealing so not a million miles from you. For an unqualified mothers help you are probably looking at around £6-£7 per hour. For someone with a little more experience £7-£8 per hour.

Depending what hours you are looking for will depend on how easily you find someone. M/helps who are looking for part time work are usually students with some free hours. au pairs looking for an extra income or current m/helps looking for more hours. If you can be very flexible about hours you need you will probably find it easier to find someone. Also offering at least 4 hours at a stretch so it is worth while for the m/help to come out.

First places to try are:
www.gumtree.com
www.nannyjob.co.uk
www.netmums.com
www.familiesonline.co.uk
www.nannyneeded.co.uk
www.thenannysharers.co.uk

Also posting an add on the nanny shares board here.

You could try a card in the local corner shop, an add at the local college or university or if you can afford it use a local nanny agency.

Hope that helps
Jenna
