Dispute with childminder- know of an experienced solicitor in London?

My old childminder told me that she couldn't manage my child any more and clearly couldn't so I removed her immediately because she was obviously distressed. Unfortunately the law is on her side because she has the paper work and I don't have any paper evidence to support what happened and what she said to me. Has anyone been through anything similar and can recommend a solicitor experienced in these cases in London? Will I ever be able to trust anyone again? It's particularly difficult because I'm pregnant again and won't be able to afford nursery fees for two children.

What is your issue with her? From what you say the cm said she couldnt handle your child and so you removed you child from her care, did anything else happen to make you consider seeing a soliciter?

the cost of a solicitor will be enormous..... what would you be suing for ?

would a nanny be more cost effective for you for when you have your second child?

I don't know of any solicitors in London I'm afraid, but is there any particular issue you had with the CM? If it was just a case of she couldn't handle your chid and you pulled her out, then I don't think there would be a case. If she did anything in particular then you could make a complaint.

But please don't let this experience put you off childminders altogether. I know that once you've lost trust it's very difficult to gain it again, but most of us are extremely caring, patient and professional and take our jobs very seriously, which means offering the best possible care to make sure your child is happy, healthy, safe and secure, and thrives and develops. I know I do anyway!! You just have to look around.

I hope things work out and you can get some advice.
