30 free hours per child or household?

Hello, I will have 2 children in nursery full time when the 30 free hours is extended to under 3s in September 2025. I can’t find anywhere if the 30 free hours is per child or per household - can anybody clarify?

i.e. In September 2025 will both children receive 30 hours (60 in total) or will the 30 hours be the total permitted for our household and split across both children?

TIA

It's always been per child and there's no intention to change that, I don't think.

So if the scheme comes in; it'd be 30 hours per child (although most childcare settings will equal that out across the full year, making it less than 30 hours per week, as the 30 hours is term-time only).

Per child.

But hold your horses. Litrally nothing has been filtered down to settings yet.... no one knows if they are going to be able to offer it.
