Alright, remind me now, what do you put in a welcome pack?

Maps of the area.
Oyster card
Gym card/key thingy
mobile phone (with mynumber stored in it) with some money on it

I've taken Monday off work to take her on the school run (which involves the bus) and introduce her to some mums and carers at the gate.

Sunday, I'm taking her to the gym to transfer membership from old nanny to new nanny.

What have I forgotten????

library card?

I gave our nanny (who had just arrived from NZ) a time out guide to things to do with kids in London, which she's found helpful in coming up with ideas for outings.

Guide to how your household appliances work
List of useful phone numbers - doctor, school, etc.
List of contact details for children's friends
Print-out of weekly activities etc. (so that she can refer back in private without having to ask until she knows it all)

Dustpan and brush

eleusis · 28/02/2008 13:46

No, MrsR. I draw the line somewhere, and she can bring her own dustpan and brush.
