I didn't hear the earthquake, I slept right through! My daughter told me her bed shook and husband told me our bed shook too!

Have after schooly today, am going to cut out some cards in a mo, I used them last week at tots - they are teapot shaped and with a teabag inside, the boys (my ds and mindee) are older so they can decorate their own card.

I have just got my Creative Steps magazine through the post, looks quite good with lots of things to make.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/02/2008 13:04

Well, mindee very tired boy so having a nap after whooping it up in the wood.

I've been getting my bubbleator ready, had to pop battereies in, a bit of a challenge (righty tighty, lefty looey) so we can zoom straight into the garden for bubble play when he wakes.

dmo · 27/02/2008 13:05

fab news LT bout dh job you will be able to relax a little on the job front as baby is due in June
poor you at the crace household at least your all feeling the same and you havnt a maxed up toddler running around

MaureenMLove · 27/02/2008 13:12

Yay! for the job LT. Lets hope interview results stay good this week. I've been and bought an interview outfit this morning! Well, I bought a jacket and a blouse. Need to try it out with black trousers, if not go back for the skirt that matches. Bought a new handbag too! Not big enough for cm stuff either!

I thought of one more thing that I can't wait to get rid of from CM. Cupboard locks! I am sick of having a line across my boots or trainers, from where I lever open the door with my foot and open the clasp with my hand! Oh, the simple things, eh?

Muffins?? Did someone say muffins??!! I LOVE muffins!!

LT - Congrats for your DH. That's great news.

Mo - Not ordered anything from the party yet as I was the host so I'm going through sorting out what freebies I can get and then will look what ot buy with my discount!! Very exciting.

I didn't even know about the earthquake til I read it on here . Didn't get a chance to see the news this morning before mindees came.

It's so lovely and peaceful here right now as both mindees are sleeping and dd is at preschool!

We spent the morning doing loads of crafts for Mothers Day. We made sunflowers with their pictures in the middle. They did the painting of the sunflower and the base (toilet roll painted green) and stuck them on with pipe cleaners for the stem. Best craft thing I've done - I really like them!!

Also did handprint tulips and cards with a poem and their handprints.

Lots of paint, mess and fun had by all (apart from me when I had to clean it all up )

Something vexes thee?

crace · 27/02/2008 17:23

Mo

You all noticed my whinging then? Just this cold - DH actually just phoned and asked "So then.. what's for dinner?" He has no idea such an innocent question is about to have his head removed. I feel like POO!

Whine over, I promise to keep it to myself now. Bedtime beckons

MaureenMLove · 27/02/2008 17:26

Whine away, that's what we're here for. DH's can be a PITA at times can't they. Can't he pick up a pizza on the way home?

crace · 27/02/2008 18:58

He's just gone out for an Indian takeaway. Good man, smart man

Been out to get my ebay bargains for the new baby - have everything but a moses basket and go one with a stand for £4 and a baby gym for £2 that both look brand new. Well chuffed and actually makes me feel like there is going to be a baby. [panic emoticon]
