I will be moving to Guernsey this Summer, has anybody any experience with getting an au pair or childminder there for a two year old?

No experience with Guernsey, but you can get a list of childminders from
Health & Social Services Department (telephone 729329). Outside of Guernsey, you need to add 01481 to the beginning.

SCUF.gg has some basic info about childminders.
