Hiring Koru Kids nanny privately

We meet a lovely nanny through Koru but she would prefer to be hired privately
Has anyone does this? What are the risks? I couldnt find any info

What does your contract with Koru say?

Does she have her own insurance?

If you hire her directly and privately you will have to do all of the admin that Koru currently do for you as she will be your employee such as tax, NI, holiday pay, pension and pay employers NI etc

Do you want to be able to use government funding schemes? In which case she will need to be Ofsted registered as a private nanny
