Yawnn... Morning. Having insomnia, I can't shut down my blinking mind when it's time for bed despite being tired!! Argh.

Today is my physio appointment!! I can't wait!! Can you tell I am excited?!

KatyMac · 19/02/2008 07:32

I've been a bit of an insomniac too

Morning

nannynick · 19/02/2008 08:19

Had an early night lastnight, yet I'm still tired. Ah well, only doing 4 hours today.

southernbelle77 · 19/02/2008 08:31

Morning all. Bit late this morning, have a 9.30 start, so I stayed up late and slept in! Who is MamaQuim? Or need I ask. And why?

crace · 19/02/2008 09:20

I thought it was MamaG with a new hat on?

MaureenMLove · 19/02/2008 09:22

I'm sure it is, but I hate that word! It's horrid!

mumlove · 19/02/2008 09:25

Morning everyone.

Just put DD for a soak in the bath while I have some breakfast and a coffee, decided to have a laze in bed as no work today.

Lunch time we will go to the local musuem and make things to do with pirates. Why do they have to choose lunchtime to do these things?

looneytune · 19/02/2008 09:37

Morning all. Can you believe I've not long been up!! Dh is not working now so I made him get up with ds and I slept heavy after my massage and then suddenly it was 9am!!! Just waiting for scrummy 8 week old baby to arrive

Crace - best of luck hun, I know that excitement, I was like that last week about seeing the Oestopath Going again today at 4pm. FT baby's mum knows as happened to see it in my diary, oh well. Anyway, let us know how you get on. what time is the appointment?

crace · 19/02/2008 09:53

Ack, just read it... icky word, yes.

Thanks LT super excited. I am tired of numb hands and painful arms. The GP said I could keep taking paracetamol (up to 8 a day is safe?! ) but I want it sorted. Enjoy your osteopath appt, are they helping? Mine is at 1pm, can't wait! Good ole NHS for once.

dmo- mine did that last week and then it was back to normal - you are not alone

ML - enjoy your day off!

crace · 19/02/2008 09:54

PMSL rose, you making up slang words for ladygardens again? (I actually used ladygarden in RL the other day to DH, saddo)

ROSEgarden · 19/02/2008 09:56

MamaQuim · 19/02/2008 10:27

Its a marvellous word

looneytune · 19/02/2008 12:50

what are you lot on today!!!

crace - I've only had 1 appointment and I THINK it's helping, it's hard to explain as the pain has moved round but I do think it's better than it was and look forward to seeing what the lady thinks a week on iyswim. Anyway, hoping you get improvement, I sympathise!

Well I'm having a lovely day. Dh says I'm in my element when I have the really little ones. This baby is scrummy and has been asleep since 11.15am and I've been staring at as she sleeps, such a cuty. I can do this on a Tuesday as it's only her (well, ds as it's half term but he's been busy making things with boxes, string etc and keeps saying he doesn't need me).

Dh is out now, signing on with more job agencies after walking out on the temp job yesterday . At least he'll be back before the oestopath and I get to go on my own and leave ds with him

Right, time to start thinking about next feed for baby I think. Catchya later

nannynick · 19/02/2008 14:17

Help - anyone know anything about train tickets? 7 year old I have tomorrow wants to go on a 'Fast Train', but as it's short notice I can't buy on-line from CrossCountry (train operator). Anyone know if I can buy a ticket from a South West Trains ticket office, and use it on the other operators train?

crace · 19/02/2008 14:19

Your Dh! Hopefully he finds something asap, what line of work is he in?

Well, I am back. HOW disappointing! In and out. I have very bad posture (which I know and result in lots of tension headaches and neck pain) and likely the culprit of some of the problem. Also I do have carpal tunnel and need to get myself some splints for nighttime, but they are only £7.50 each so won't break the bank. In the meantime she's taped my neck muscles to see if that alleviates it (it hasn't yet ) and I take that off on Saturday.

I go back in two weeks for a status check. Although I whole heartedly agree with that I need to work on my posture I was rather hoping that something would have been done to loosen the neck muscles. Heyho, nevermind maybe in a couple of weeks.

crace · 19/02/2008 14:20

hmmm no idea Nick! I wouldn't think so, it's usually with the operator you are using that you buy the ticket from.. I think - don't quote me.
