this thread is useful and has some good questions to ask a cm and things to look out for when visiting.

IMO a good childminder loves working with children and is naturally comfortable with them, interacts well with parents and children, is REGISTERED, caring, and has a good sense of humour (I find it helps).

I would agree with Kay!

And trust your instincts. You will probably get a 'feel' for the childminder when you meet them.
