Anyone got a Zafira and have a double buggy that fits in the narrow 'boot' when all 7 seats are in use?!! If so, what buggy is it?!

Phil & Teds but have to take off the back wheels.

southernbelle77 · 16/02/2008 06:44

The Marco Sky, apparently! I hope so anyway as that is what I am going to be getting. Decided I did not really need a P&T and also, it would be a hassle having to take the wheels off / put them on when in a hurry at school run time!

Possibly the Cossatto Duet Lite too as it is much the same. Just looked at measurements and the Marco Sky is smaller in width, but a little longer than the Cossatto.

HTH!

I couldn't get my marco in the boot with the seats all up!!!! (sorry southernbelle!) maybe I just wasn't doing it right...my aria twin fits but you have to kind of hang onto it as you shut the boot and kind of jump backwards and slam the lid before it falls out..its a bit of a performance lol I tend to put my aria in the middle on the floor rather than trying to cram it in the boot.

southernbelle77 · 16/02/2008 08:26

LOL thanks Jenna! Maybe I'll just put it on the floor in fromt of the middle seats instead!

AskABusyPerson · 16/02/2008 08:28

Thank you ladies, must admit hadn't thought of putting a buggy on floor in middle - doh!

omg southernbelle please dont get a Marco Sky, they fall apart. My friend has had two! terrible customer service too

kittywise · 16/02/2008 08:37

phil and teds

southernbelle77 · 16/02/2008 09:02

I saw you put that on another thread fruitloop. I have heard far more good things than bad about them though and to be honest, you can have problems with any pushchair.
We had major issues with our Maclaran, but other people swear by them!
I need something small, cheapish, and that will fit a buggyboard on back. Any suggestions?!

eleanorsmum · 16/02/2008 09:06

my marco sky is fab! second hand off ebay and it's still going strong. fits across the back of my citroen synergie if thats anyhelp!

southernbelle77 · 16/02/2008 09:10

Thanks EM!

Think the citroen synergie is wider than the zafira and so might have bigger boot space!

Still going to get a marco sky anyway and fit it somewhere!!

(sorry for hijacking your thread btw AskABusyPerson )

AskABusyPerson · 16/02/2008 16:16

No problem southernbelle! I'd consider a marco sky as they look compact but I need both seats suitable from birth, as I'll be looking after my sisters baby as a family member not as a cm (on days when I have no mindees ) so guess I'll go for a twin stroller type one and put in front of the middle seats. Can't afford a p&t and actually am not that keen on the low back seat....

I have thought that too about the P&T. If you are doing a lot of walking along roadsides etc then the low back seat would worry me with all the exhaust fumes.

AskABusyPerson · 17/02/2008 21:43

I walk every day too and from school and sometimes during day to and from toddler group, music group and library etc so yes, low back seat would worry me with exhaust fumes, also as baby gets older it can't see a thing!!!
