Splitting 30 hours between nursery and nanny- anyone done this?

If so how did you go about it? The whole system busts my brain. DS will be doing 15 hours at school nursery. Will we be able to use the remaining 15 to cover some of our Ofsted accredited nanny?

No nannies can't claim funding. Childminders can though.

I don't believe nannies are eligible for either the 15 or 30 hours funding, however you can still use Tax Free Childcare.

Can split with another setting (nursery, pre-school, some childminders) but cannot be split with nanny.

With nanny you can use Tax Free Childcare, childcare vouchers, tax credits, or Universal Credit.

www.childcarechoices.gov.uk says what providers different funding can be used by.
