Am off to iron dd's uniform for school phoot's for tomorrow then watch LOST in minute but as im off after school run in morn and will be painting..AGAIN...i wanted to sneak in, hoover round, flick a duster over the bookcase and anti bac the kitchenette..put some fresh cream cakes in fridge for lunch(breakfast) and bought a new dispenser that serves highly caffinated coffee on one side and cool glasses of vodka red bull!

I did a first aid refresher on Saturday and what with DH just coming back from a Health and Safety at work 4 dayer, we are officially the most boring and dull people to be with atm!

can anyone clear this up for me reg my ICP, i did it almost 2yrs ago now...it took until november LAST YEAR for my certifiate to come through!!!, i have now been told by a cm friend that we all will now have to take the NEW multiple choice exam even though we did mountains and mountains of paperwork because the certificates wer late and NOW ONLY prove we DID the course..not PASS the course????

Will ask at EYFS tonight but am if this is the case!?

Rose - I read that stop running around "like" Looney Which is also relevant! I've got to make a freaking appointment at the GP for my carpal tunnel my fingers are numb and it's ANNOYING! And it hurts all the way to my elbows. Oh the joys of pregnancy. One "helpful" friend pointed out this may not go away after pregnancy. ha, nice

So, how many of you would go for this as a work arrangement. I thought I would be in the majority, but so far, it appears not!

No i agree Mo, it would cause too much hassle for an 'established' cm(meaning one with other mindees already and her/his own children to sort out..too much rushing around)

Oh good. I just think its not part of the deal! Its bordering on treating the CM as a hired help imho. It almost says, 'if you want me to pay you to look after my children, you'll have to come and get them!' I think its demeaning. (Its bothering me, can you tell! )

But then, if you need the work, you need the work.

Morning all. Was going to pop in during the early hours when I couldn't sleep but didn't want to mess things up after the good job Rose did. Anyway, the cakes would have been FAR too tempting!! I finally managed to get to sleep at 6.30am so had less than an hours bloomin sleep! At least at 5 this morning, when in tears and desperate, I managed to make a Dr's appointment for after the school run She confirmed sinusitis and I have some anti-biotics so fingers crossed they work before my head EXPLODES!!! #

Mo - yes, I'm closed!!! NO WAY could I face it today. I thought the actual flu was the pits but my god, the intensity of this sinus pain is driving me bonkers. Going to have a cup of tea then try and sleep.

DD is home with a bad cold. I'm not very good with her being off sick. She needs to be almost dying before she gets any sympathy from me! She wants chicken noodle soup for lunch. God, she is so like her father! Slightest cold and the pair of them have to have soup and rolls and TLC!

Cheers Mo, will go and try now. I've done loads and loads of steaming with karvol drops in but it's not really been much use. I've never been THIS bad before!!! Off to get hot flannel - will try ANYTHING

Both children in bed so while i'm warming my soup thought i'd pop back....

We're not married so some people will think it doesn't count but we've been officially living together 6 years today, we aren't going out or anything and we don't do presents but we are doing cards with lots of thought put into what we write (i hope, i've done mine but i'm waiting for his) and we'll be having a nice meal, just about making some time to spend together

Ah, thats lovely LMG. We don't do pressies either and DH can just about manage his name on a card, if he remembers to buy one! He remembers the anniversary, just not the card! 17 years married this year. Is it time to move on, d'ya think?
