google the course name and your location, ours are run by the local university.

i think my assessor has disappeared off the earth atm.

Mine was at the local high school through adult education

Sorry only just seen this! Mine is through local college, but I very rarely actually step into the college, assessor comes to you and I drop in now and again to drop off written work to be marked. They hold evening workshops at mine but tbh I find them pointless as you usually have 20-30 people there and two assessors, so not very helpful. I prefer to call her up or pop in.

They are worth doing IMO, it's a bit of a chore but they do open doors and show you are committed to training.

i did mine in college when i was a nursery nurse and was assessed at a nearby nursery once a week

i am currently doing the quailty award but find it difficult not going into college each week cause i just dont do the work

ring your local college or training school
some places like you to have an nvq 2 first

I was advised by my early years training officer that cms should do level three as they run the setting. My college were fine with me starting on level3 as I had just finished my ICP and made sure they knew I could handle a level3 working alone. Plus my assessor used to be a cm so knows how much works it invlolves. If they want you to do level two first ask elsewhere!

I did mine through the Local authority here as they sponsor you through a couple of local colleges.
